NWRA: December 2023 Ordinary Session
Members of the North West Regional Assembly have voted a budget of 5.634 billion as the budget of 2024. This was during the December 2023 (13th) ordinary session of the North-West Regional Assembly that took place Monday 11 to Wednesday 13, July 2023.
The investment budget stands at 4.62 billion representing 82.08 percent of the budget and the operating expenses stand at a little over one billion, representing 17.92%.
This falls short of the budgetary requirement of 40 percent in expenses and 60 percent of the budget in expenditure.

At 12th Ordinary session: NWRA presents balance sheet
The September 2023 (12th) Ordinary session of the North-West Regional Assembly held under the theme:
"Building secure, safe and clean communities"
It had as focus, zooming in on what has been achieved in terms of projects, since the begining of the year, assess the impact of PDI in the communities, projections on NOWEDIF and the North-West Regional Customs clearing house. (Monday 16 - Thursday 19 October 2023)

The Business of the June 2023 (11th) Ordinary Session focused on; discussions on the budget orientation and debate for the 2024 financial year, updates on the North West Regional Assembly's Peace and Development Initiative (PDI) in the respective Divisions and presentations from seasoned experts on the North West Development and Investment Fund (NOWEDIF). - Wednesday 12 - Friday 14 July 2023
March 10th 2023
The March 2023 (10th) session focused on the performance (Administrative, Management and Stores Accounts) of the Assembly during the previous year. The session extensively had the last day as as etraordinary session dedicated for the adoption of the North-West Regional Development Plan.

The December 2022 (9th) Ordinary session of the North-West Regional Assembly that held under the theme “Budget Orientation and Debate for Participatory Development”

September 8th 2022
September 2022 (8th) Ordinary session of the North-West Regional Assembly held under the banner “Evaluation of Peace Building and Back to School”
During the session, the Assembly had the opportunity to assess how far they have come as an institution in peace building and also offered financial assistance and scholarships to needy students in the Region, subsidies to inclusive education, award of prizes to meritorious students across the 7 Divisions of the Region etc.
